What Type of Lawn Service Do You Need?
Your lawn is the welcome mat to your home. Most companies offer one-size-fits-all fertilization and weed control packages to maintain a traditional, weed-free lawn. We offer a variety of lawn types so you can choose the perfect lawn for your home and personality. Whether you are looking for a weed-free, organic, lower maintenance or even bee-friendly lawn, you will find the perfect lawn with Rainbow Lawncare!
Choose from one of our lawn types below:
Like the traditional look of a manicured lawn and the smell of fresh cut grass? We customize the number of fertilizer applications based on your goals and current lawn condition. Weed control is never mixed with the fertilizer application to reduce output. Best of all, you are not locked into a contract.
Looking for a healthy lawn without the use of any chemicals? We can maintain your lawn with 100% organic fertilizer. Expect some weeds, although adding services like aeration and over-seeding will create a thicker lawn aiding in weed reduction. The best defense against weeds is a thick healthy lawn!
Looking for a lawn that requires a bit less maintenance? Over-seed or replace your current lawn with a variety of fescue grass:
- Turf Type tall fescue looks like bluegrass but requires less water and fertilization.
- Fine fescue mix is the most drought tolerant and requires less fertilizer and mowing.
- No Mow fescue mix (see below) is also drought tolerant, with a less traditional appearance.
Want the ultimate low maintenance lawn? Replace part or all of your current lawn with a fine fescue grass, and you will have a lawn that can be mowed as little once or twice a year. Fine fescue only grows to a height of 6-10”, and will lie down as it grows. This fine bladed grass crowds out and prevents weeds. Additionally it also handles drought stress and requires less fertilizer.
Want to create a pollinator haven somewhere in your yard? Rainbow Lawncare is proud to be the only company offering bee lawns in the Twin Cities! You choose how much of your yard to dedicate towards the preservation of pollinators. We generally overseed our custom fescue and flower seed mix into your existing lawn.
